Stockholm ARN: What to Do on a Layover

Getting from the airport
ARN to city center: 37 minutes by rail (Arlanda Express). Trains run every 6 minutes. Service runs 05:00 to 23:30. Skip the taxi unless your connection is under 5 hours.
What to do in Stockholm
The stops worth making: Gamla Stan Old Town, Vasa Museum, ABBA Museum, Djurgården island. Rated above 4.4: Vasa Museum (4.8), Skansen (4.5), The Royal Palace (4.5), Stockholm City Hall (4.7), ABBA The Museum (4.5). You do not need the full tourist circuit. Pick two and commit.
